Job responsibilities

Strive to write clean and maintainable code.

• Ensure your work is well tested and bug-free as much as possible.
• Work closely with the senior engineers in the team to ensure you are following best practices and engineering processes.
• Be able to write clearly and keep the team apprised of the progress of your work.
• Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure the correctness of your work in terms of aesthetic and functionality.

Job requirements

• 1+ years of experience in building web applications with React in a professional or personal capacity.
• Proficient in Javascript and React, including a good understanding of the language and library features.
• Good knowledge of basic programming principles and data structures.
• Able to build and style user interfaces using HTML/CSS.
• Familiar with common UI/UX patterns and has an eye for quality detail.
• The ability to communicate clearly in a verbal and written manner.

Good to have:

• Open source contributions or open source projects you have built.
• Familiarity with React Native.

As a Backend Engineer, you will work on one of our core products to build a performant, scalable system which helps our users. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset who continuously strives to upskill themselves

Job responsibilities

Learn how to work with various components of the system such as the order processing system, catalog validation system, API server etc.

• Work with internal and external APIs.
• Work closely with the Support team to triage and debug customer issues.
• Learn and write tests to ensure high quality code delivery.
• Document components and parts of the system as you learn more about the system(s).
• Participate in code reviews and duly learn and implement inputs received through the review process.

Job requirements

0-1 years of experience using Python or a similar scripting language.

• Ability to think logically and split a problem into manageable sub-problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with a Source Code Management system such as Git.
• Knowledge of/willingness to learn SQL/NoSQL databases.
